LOST IN NAVIGATION
In the heat of the desert sun the mind can play tricks on you and make some things appear as though they are real. you are burning up dried up from thirst when appears what looks to be an oasis of water and palm trees but upon further exploration of this phenomenon you discover it’s only sand.
To your dismay there is nothing at all to soothe your thirst.
You see when one is out walking in the desert sun too long they call these veiled disguises a mirage.
Unfortunately many have wondered through relationship deserts; coming upon what appears to be love with everything to offer.
The person you first meet is merely a represenitive ; a veiled disguise.
The veil gives you the illusion of the person you want to see but not who they truly are and like the heat from the desert sun you feel hot and parched.
The emotions like the heat trick the heart and mind into seeing what you want to see- a mirage. The laws of attraction can be complicated it’s hard to explain why people fall for certain people. Maybe a person is mostly attracted by good looks, a nice body, a nice smile or great personality.
For some it can be as simple as a hint of decency.They just find this person to be irresistible.
A hint of decency really; I mean are some of us so starved that we might fall prey to anyone showing up with a vase of flowers or a nice smile?
It has been a distinct belief that there is somebody for everybody but don’t be fooled by that premise because that just might be what you end up with just some body. You should never just settle and lower yourself to just accept anybody for a partner.
The aura of love forces you to do all the things that a person with a reasonably sound mind would never do. You find yourself giving more of yourself to someone that does not deserve the efforts of your time and emotional investment. Relationships of this magnitude will most likely cause you to lose your pride, time and self esteem without realizing it until you are way past in.
Some people may be reading this and thinking “Damn I’m here right now”. You behaving like a heat stroke victim happily bathing in what you think is an oasis of cool water when everyone around you can see it’s only sand. You failed prey to the veiled illusion of something you thought was real; A mirage can be appear whether lost in the desert or lost in a relationship. It can present itself in many of situations that can feel desperate but in the end the results are the same it is not real.
Remember: You are just as deserving to receive love in return from the one you give your love too.
